Interior design isn’t just about being creative and selecting pretty things. There’s a lot of ideation and research that goes into designing spaces that are code compliant, and protect the health and safety of the users, while catering to the creative and functional needs of the client. At hex + o, we love nothing more than diving right into the conceptual phase of every project. We feel like there is no bigger reward than seeing our happy clients at the finish line, in a new space that is a perfect reflection of who they are.
Our interior design services include:
Programming and gathering information. This includes the initial design consultation, as-built measure of your existing space, and building code review
Exploration of design concepts and creating inspiration boards showing design direction
Space planning, initial millwork design, finishes, fixtures, and furniture selections. 3D renderings can be completed as requested
Full drawing sets for permit and construction. Our drawing sets typically include demolition plans, floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, furniture plans, and schedules for all finishes, lighting, and plumbing selections
Drafted elevations and sections for custom millwork
Contract administration including site meetings and visits, and coordination with trades, contractors, and project consultants
Furniture + accessories selection to pull the entire look together
Final walkthroughs, deficiency lists, and project closeout meetings

DESIGN CONSULTATIONS
$450
If you have a small project on your hands and want some design advice, or curious what it’s like working with a designer before jumping in, our one time design consultation may be a great option for you. Our consultations are 1.5 hours and are typically completed at your home or product showroom. We will offer advice on your project, and give recommendations on new paint colours, furniture + decor, millwork design, light fixtures, and answer any other burning questions you may have. A follow up summary of notes will be provided, along with inspiration images to help give you the jump start needed to begin your project.
